The 6C’s Approach to Club Program Excellence
Did you know that the ND Club of Greater Cincinnati has earned a Program Excellence Award from the Notre Dame Alumni Association ("NDAA") every year for at least the last 15 years in a row? Ever wonder why certain events take place every year or why certain new events are chosen and added to the mix? Both answers are related to the strategic framework offered by the NDAA called the 6C’s Approach to Club Program Excellence.
Club are encouraged to present a balanced variety of events and programs each year that promote Camaraderie, Catholic/Christian Spirituality, Community Service, Continuing Education, Current Student Support, and Communications in order to help local alums stay connected to the University’s core values of Faith, Learning, and Service… and to each other.
To ensure that the Cincinnati Club meets that goal and earns a Program Excellence Award every year, the club’s board is structured around six “C-Chairs” who each chair one of the “C-Committees,” tasked with planning and leading events and programs within the strategic 6C core areas. Below are examples of the programs offered by the Cincinnati Club in a typical year. Find an area of special interest and get involved!!
